Gaelen

Nick Hill adopted 2 PMU horses in 2007-2008 - a 4 year old chestnut mare (Gail) and yearling chestnut gelding (Gaelen). The mare (renamed Chloe) was rehomed in 2010 after Nick had very serious riding accident and was unable to ride. His farrier offered to take her and she has had a great life as a trail horse. Gaelen, Nick kept after the accident in the hopes to maybe ride again or spend his life as a pasture pet. He relocated to WA and Gaelen came with him. At the age of 10, Nick decided Gaelen needed more to stimulate his mind and that it was a shame to not have him working. My new farrier told a client about him. She had a teen 4-H/Pony Club student who needed a horse but did not have funds to purchase a “ready made” horse. Gaelen and his girl have been together a couple years now. They are in training for dressage and jumping - typical pony club events. Thanks Nick for making sure these horses have been taken care of their entire life and making sure that they always have a home and a great life.
